Valued at US$180.6 billion in 2025, the global phosphate market is growing at a 5.6% CAGR and expected to reach US$300B by 2034.

Today, ~70% of global reserves are held by Morocco while ~40% global production is held by China, with exports restricted.

It is listed as a Critical Mineral by USA, Canada, Australia and the EU.

Canadian Phosphate holds two strategic phosphate projects in British Columbia, Canada, and one in Utah, USA. Together, these projects position the Company to support a secure, domestically sourced supply of phosphate for fertilizer production and the growing North American lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery industry.  These are strategically located in terms of proximity to agricultural markets, road and rail infrastructure and access to key processing inputs such as sulfur and natural gas.
