Canadian Phosphate identified the long-term value of securing high quality grade rock phosphate in 2012 when it purchased the rights to strategic tenements in British Columbia, Canada,  and in 2026, it acquired Diamond Mountain in Utah, USA.

A finite resource, phosphate is the building blocks of life and crucial to our existence as a major crop input and soon to be a crucial component of batteries. Having access to such a resource, in a region of North America that is somewhat limited to rock phosphate supply is a cornerstone of our success.
