Wapiti Group
The Wapiti Mining Project encompasses an area of approximately 78 km² in the Northeastern British Columbia, 70km southeast of Tumbler Ridge in the Peace River Regional District. Mining is the largest employer in the region and contributes up to half of the current employment in the town.
Canadian Phosphate Limited has owned the Wapiti tenures since 2012 and recently (July 2025) completed an independent, JORC-compliant Exploration Target estimate prepared by Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd. The estimate outlines a potential 20.2 to 28.6 million tonnes grading between 15.76% and 15.96% P₂O₅ across five modelled zones in the northern portion of the Property. The Exploration Target is based on historical drilling and trenching data, including 81 drillholes and 51 trenches, and covers approximately 40% of the Company’s current tenement holdings in Wapiti.
